Suspension Training

Tonight I was introduced to the TRX suspension training straps. It is pretty cool and certainly relevant to my quest for being stronger and more fit, as well as handling the handstand clap pushup. The idea is that you activate the muscles in a new way - isometrically - while also maintaining that strong core. Totally cool, but expensive. I might just buy some rope from Home Depot and try it myself, although that might be a bit dangerous.

I recon we could make something like this! Good, although i wouldn't really know where to us them... Nice if you had a big backgarden maybe.

the trainer at my new gym hung it from the overhead bar on the smith machine and we also have a proper pull up station from which he hangs it. You could hang it from the smith machine in the weight room at EFC where you do your towel pulls. although I guess the mirror muscle gang might get upset...
It is really killer. My next goal - Iron Cross! :-)
